Cloud Studies is a series of 3D-rendered sketches and compositions exploring the form, movement, and mood of clouds—much like John Constable’s observational studies, but reimagined through digital simulation. These works served as both creative exploration and technical groundwork, helping refine my approach to volumetric rendering. Some pieces remained as standalone studies, while others became the foundation for hero images in my 3D VDB asset collections. Together, they reflect an ongoing process of learning, experimentation, and visual discovery.
